Precautions:

Asthma; prolonged use; persistent symptoms (> 48 hrs) without medical advice; pregnancy esp last trimester, children < 12 mths (without medical advice)

Laxative effect, diarrhoea

Interactions:

Any regular medication (without medical advice); other anti-inflammatories

Dose:

May be given in water or juice. Push syringe provided into neck of bottle, turn bottle upside down, pull on plunger; wash syringe in warm water after use. 5-10 mg/kg every 6-8 hrs as needed (max 4 doses/24 hrs); suggested doses: 3-6 mths (6-8 kg): 1.5 mL/dose; 6-12 mths (8-10 kg): 2 mL/dose; 12-24 mths (10-12 kg): 2.5 mL/dose
