Precautions:

GI haemorrhage, perforation, ulcer history; stomach, bowel lining inflammation eg Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis; SLE, mixed connective tissue disease; bronchial asthma, allergic disease history; cardiac, renal impairment; hypertension; elderly; pregnancy

Interactions:

Warfarin; Li; ACE inhibitors; beta-blockers; thiazide diuretics; frusemide; aspirin, salicylates, other NSAIDs, COX-2 inhibitors; probenecid; antidiabetics; zidovudine; phenytoin; cardiac glycosides; corticosteroids; methotrexate

Dose:

Adults, children greater than or equal to 12 yrs: initially 2 tabs, then 1-2 tabs every 4 hrs; max 6 tabs/day. Children 7-12 yrs: 1 tab every 6-8 hrs; max 4 tabs/day
