Adverse Reactions:

Interactions:
MAOIs (see Contra); CNS depressants eg alcohol, barbiturates, hypnotics, opioids, anxiolytics, neuroleptics; antimuscarinics eg atropine, TCAs
Dose:
Allergy. Adults: 25-75 mg at night or 10-20 mg 2-3 times daily; children 6-12 yrs: 10-25 mg at night or 10 mg 2-3 times daily; 2-5 yrs: 5-15 mg at night or 5 mg 2-3 times daily. Sedation. Adults: 25-75 mg at night; children 6-12 yrs: 10-25 mg at night; 2-5 yrs: 5-15 mg at night. Travel sickness. Adults: 25 mg; children 6-12 yrs: 10 mg; 2-5 yrs: 5 mg; take night before travel, may repeat 6-8 hrs later. Nausea, vomiting. Adults: 25 mg every 4-6 hrs, max 100 mg/day; children 6-12 yrs: 10 mg every 4-6 hrs, max 25 mg/day; 2-5 yrs: 5 mg every 4-6 hrs, max 15 mg/day
